ONLINE THERAPY

for California & Nevada Residents

online therapy in Nevada and California

From the comfort of your own couch or your own office, you can have therapy work for you.

In today's fast-paced world, prioritizing mental health has never been more crucial. Yet, finding the time and resources for in-person therapy is challenging. If it’s not work, then perhaps you are busy trying to spend time with important people in your life. And when you are not, you have errands and other responsibilities.

Online therapy is a great solution to support your mental wellness journey from the comfort of your own space, cutting out the time you would otherwise spend commuting and more.

Many studies across a wide variety of client and problem types indicate that Telehealth works and is as effective as in-person care.

  • You may not be a good fit for online therapy if you are experiencing suicidal ideation or thoughts of hurting someone else.

Additionally, if you are experiencing intense mental health symptoms or if they worsen over the course of treatment, you may be referred to seek in-person therapy or a more intensive, higher level of care in order to receive the best support for your well-being.

In such cases, recommendations will be brought to your attention and discussed with you prior to the transtion.

  • In 2021, Lin and colleagues conducted a meta-analysis comparing teletherapy to in-person therapy by examining data from various randomized clinical trials.

They identified 1393 studies and selected 20 that met their inclusion criteria. The analysis revealed no significant difference between teletherapy and in-person therapy in treatment outcomes at post-treatment or follow-up, nor in attrition rates.

Their findings provide empirical support for the practice of teletherapy, suggesting that client outcomes do not differ between teletherapy and in-person therapy versions.
